Senior Environmental Scientist/Engineer

General Position Summary

Water, Civil, and Environmental Inc. (WCE Inc.) is looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. The preferred candidate will have over 8+ years of experience in the environmental consulting field, be detail-oriented and a strong technical writer, have environmental sampling experience, and be able to conduct periodic fieldwork outdoors in variable weather conditions with potentially rough terrain in remote areas requiring up to 15% overnight travel.

Qualifications:
  • Independent, adaptable, and highly motivated.
  • Ability to work in Boise, Idaho.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working on diverse concurrent projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare technical reports.
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) or master’s degree (preferred) in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification with an up-to-date 8-hour refresher or ability to obtain it before starting work.
  • Experience working for/with federal or state agencies is a plus.

Senior Civil Engineer

General Position Summary

Water, Civil, and Environmental Inc. (WCE Inc.) is looking for an experienced, registered Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 10 years of experience in civil, water resources, or structural engineering to join our growing consulting firm. The preferred candidate will also lead/develop the preparation of technical and non-technical reports and presentations and assist with business development activities including client relations, marketing pursuits, and project proposals. Experience working for/with federal agencies is a plus!

Qualifications:
  • Manage projects and work closely with clients.
  • Be self-motivated and complete projects within a team environment and independently.
  • Have client development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with the development of complete design documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Minimum 10 years of engineering work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) or master’s degree (preferred) in civil engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Civil Engineer - Project Engineer
